Recruitment Process

Application Process

To ensure the best candidate is identified, selected and hired, a comprehensive recruitment process will always take place, but can differ depending on the position you are applying for. The recruitment process is always carried out by the Hiring Manager in collaboration with our recruitment team.

A key focus for us is that you as an applicant have a good experience and we will do our very best to ensure that the process is handled in a professional manner every time.

After submitting your CV and application in our recruitment system, your profile will be reviewed to ensure that your skills and experience meet the essential criteria for the role you have applied for. Our recruitment process ensures that all applicants are reviewed on a fair and equal basis.

Once the most suitable candidates have been identified, each candidate will be contacted directly and be invited to participate in an interview.

Interview

If we see a potential match between you and a position you will be invited for an interview at a Vestas location or through an online telephone call.

First Interview

For many of our positions, there is both a first and a second interview. As a candidate, your experience is important to us, which is why the interview will always include an introduction to Vestas as well as thorough insight to the potential role and department you are interviewing for.

Second Interview & Assessment

At the second interview, you will most likely meet the hiring manager and a recruiter from our Recruitment Team. This interview will most like be on a Vestas location. At the interview, there will be a thorough talk about the job as well as your profile.

Prior to the second interview for most positions, you will be asked to participate in a personality assessment. This assessment includes questions about you and your behavior in different situations and is focused on getting to know you even better.

Contract & Onboarding

If you have received an offer from Vestas, congrats! Welcome to Vestas. Your recruiter will work together with you to make sure that we have received all information and we are aligned on all details.

When the contract is signed and received, you will be getting information about your onboarding process. It is important to us that all new employees are given a good and smooth beginning in the company.

You will be receiving an onboarding program that will consist of a welcome package with materials about Vestas - and when you start in Vestas you will be introduced to our organization, your colleagues and get an insight into our company and our culture.
